Finals week took me under but I’ve just submitted my final one and I’ve never felt so accomplished–and festive, too! I listened to a lot of Nat King Cole these past few weeks, and his cozy voice would make me feel like I was walking through snowy streets of New York. At the library front desk is a little Christmas house for elves that one of the workers set up. At work I was given a little baby Yoda with candy canes. Memphis still looks like it’s garbed in leftover autumn, but I know that it’s snowing in Hamilton right now. It’s been an incredibly gorgeous semester and for some reason, Christmas is feeling brighter and more nostalgic than it has in years. I can’t wait to be back home in twenty-four hours–I’ll be packing and cleaning my dorm room tonight, listening to the Christmas Song. See you all in Canada!
